Why Slobbering Dogs? A simple reference to the Pavlovian system of rewards that drives so many of the behaviours we see acted out in the workplace. A name that evokes the base animal instinct that ultimately drives all of us at least in part. A suggestion of the greed that is so often implied and witnessed in the corporate world.

As a corporate psychologist working with FTSE100 companies and their executive populations I see enough to make your toes curl but also a lot that should give you heart. Life is tough at the top. As such, I will look also to intersperse the car crash observations and experiences with those that illustrate that ultimately we should not lose hope. In the meantime let’s have some fun laughing about the rubbish that does occur as well as the daily grind that is work.
